Eldoret Hospice was established in 1994. The hospice offers weekly day care and home visits, including counseling and bereavement support for patients and families. A cancer clinic is held each Thursday, and psychosocial, therapeutic and nursing and medical services are available. Paul Asige, Hospice Co-ordinator, is currently a member of the KEHPCA board. The hospice has 7 palliative care personnel.
