David Musyoki serves as the Executive Director effective 1st May 2024.

With over 16 years of dedicated service in palliative care, David joined KEHPCA in 2008. He has held various positions within the organization, including Advocacy Officer and, most recently, Director of Programs since January 2021. He describes his journey at KEHPCA as fulfilling both professionally and personally, having improved his technical skills and, most importantly, nurtured his passion for palliative care.

As the Director of Programs, David has spearheaded the implementation and management of numerous projects that have significantly contributed to the recognition and growth of palliative care in Kenya. He has also actively been involved in global and local fundraising initiatives and grant writing, securing crucial support for KEHPCA

David is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Leadership at the Pan African University complementing his bachelor’s degree in nursing, training in Palliative Care, and other professional certifications from esteemed institutions like the University of Dundee and Oxford Brookes University.

As the Executive Director, his role will include providing overall oversight and strategic direction toward achieving KEHPCAs vision of quality palliative care for all.

In his free time, David enjoys serving humanity through various community and church initiatives, as well as spending time with his family in Ushago.
