David is serving as the Advocacy Officer in KEHPCA since October 2007.

He is an experienced health care professional with extensive experience in palliative care, program design and management; leadership and organizational sustainability. He has skills in basic financial management; HIV/AIDS care and treatment; curriculum development; training; health care professionals skills development and mentorship, design and implementation of community health programs; monitoring and evaluation; documentation and sharing of best practices; continuous quality improvement programming and application of public health theory to practice. This skills have been gained mainly from not-for profit sectors. Prior to joining KEHPCA, David was training nurses at the Maua Methodist School of Nursing. He also worked with the Narok Integrated Development Program (NIDP) for three years.

David has Solid academic/professional training (Post Graduate Certificate in Palliative Care, Diploma in Higher Education in Palliative Care, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree, Certificate in introduction to palliative care course, Introduction course on Paediatric Palliative Care, among others.

In line with his faith and with his church community, David serves different communities through evangelism and supporting the destitute. He is also a member in various boards of management in learning institutions.
