Kenya Hospices and Palliative Care Association (KEHPCA) donated some Information Technology electronics to Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) to facilitate the palliative care course at the training institution courtesy of funding from the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial fund and True Colours Trust Fund to support palliative care in Kenya.

Receiving the equipment, Palliative care lecturer at KMTC Stella Mwaris said that the equipments meant a lot to the palliative care department.

“We look forward to improve teaching efficiency especially in palliative care with this equipment.” M/s. Mwaris said.

She added that the equipment shall be used wisely to see the e-learning palliative care training take shape and reach as many health care providers as possible undertaking the course now and in the future.

The course aims at equipping interested health care workers from all over the country with necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to provide comprehensive quality palliative care services and training.
