CPA Mumia Koroti is a seasoned finance and governance professional with over 30 years experience in increasingly responsible roles within Accounting and Finance functions across public and private sector institutions. Prior to his current role, he served as the Chief Finance Officer at Kwale International Sugar Company Limited for over 8 years to March 2025.He previously  held senior finance positions: at South Nyanza Sugar Company, New KCC Ltd, Firestone East Africa Limited and Kenindia Assurance Limited. His expertise extends to board governance, risk management, and environmental, social, and governance measurement and disclosures

He is currently serving as a Non-Executive Director at both the Youth Enterprise Development Fund (YEDF) and the Kakamega County Investment and Development Agency (KCIDA). He holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Nairobi, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Moi University, and is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya and a Member of the Institute of Directors Kenya.
